Voltage Regulator Wiring
Installing a new voltage regulator and have more wires than I know what to do with. The voltage regulator pigtail has 2 white and 2 yellow wires. I know one yellow goes to the battery post on the alternator and 1 white wire goes to the stator post, where does the extra white and yellow wires go?

You would probably get more help in the regular classic section. Check out the FAQ wiring diagrams. They cover what goes where pretty well.

Here are some links that might help:

If I remember right with the connector entering the top of regulator,
Right post - Yellow goes to the battery post on the starter solenoid (there is a second wire that goes on this post that can go to the radio suppression condenser
Middle post - Green with red goes to a firewall connector and on to the ignition switch
Left post - White goes to the alternator wiring connector and on to the field post
To answer your question, a second yellow would do to the radio suppression condenser to help eliminate noise. I have no idea what a second white wire would do.
Edit: Correction...White goes to the field

If they're in a pigtail why do you need to know the other end? (or is it a replacement plug)?
FYI for 66-70,
The white in the F term goes to the alt FIELD,
The yellow to the A term goes to the battery side of the starter relay,
The green-red on the S term goes inside the car to the ign switched run circuit junction.
For 65,
The white in the F term goes to the alt FIELD,
The white-black in the S term goes to the ALT stator
The yellow to the A term goes to the battery side of the starter relay,
The green-red in the I term goes inside the car to the idiot light.
their may or may not be a short pigtail of the A term this is for th radio suppression condenser (filter)
The links you've been provided will get you a good diagram.

Thanks for the information. When I ordered the new pigtail, it had the two extra wires that were not on my original one I took off. Did not know if they were cut off years ago or that the new one was wrong for my application. I checked out a friends and found the second yellow leading to the radio condensor, but still have not found any reason for the extra white one. I did not want to cut it off until I found the reason for that wire.

The more I thought about it, maybe I asked the wrong question. How many wires came on the '69 voltage regular?
